My artistic practice culminates around the exploration of consciousness and spiritual understandings from around the world. I place intent into the belief of a universal life force of creative existence outside the set material reality in which humans exist and interact. My artistic work and research aims to focus on places unseen, unknown and avoided by the structures of western society. My past sculptural and drawing works have centred on sacred geometric designs and fractals and the ability of these designs and patterns to alter the mind of the viewer. As my work has evolved I have begun exploring broader themes and possibilities around consciousness, sacred symbols, storytelling and ritual.
