We are delighted to announce our annual exhibition of Sculpture in the Vineyards will be held again at the 5 wineries along the Wollombi Valley Wine Trail throughout October until the end of January at the 5 boutique wineries in the Wollombi Valley: Millbrook Estate, Stonehurst Cedar Creek, Undercliff Winery, Wollombi Wines and Wollombi Village Vineyard. Art and wine – a wonderful relationship! This outdoor exhibition is free and you can sample wines at cellar doors that are open daily. See sculptures from some of Australia’s most accomplished sculptors in the tranquility and natural beauty of the vines – it’s a combination that is hard to beat!

It is a beautiful time of year to visit – from the start of Spring with new growth covering the vines, to Summer with abundant foliage and the fruit ripening.

	WOLLOMBI VILLAGE VINEYARD - *Proprietors: Alan & Maria Roe* Wollombi Village Vineyard cellar door opened in September 2006 by Alan and Maria Roe (who originally came up with the idea of developing a vineyard on the site back in the 1980’s), together with their granddaughter Lisa, who operate the cellar door every weekend and long weekends. The design of the cellar door allows visitors the chance to sit down & enjoy the views centre stage of the vineyard, as well as the tastes, not to mention chat to the people involved with owning & operating the vineyard. Grapes grown on the site are mainly chardonnay & shiraz, which annually bottle as a flat white, red or rosé. As well as wines, Maria uses her Italian family recipes to make traditional Limoncielo with lemons from their trees (grown with no chemical sprays), as well as several other fruit flavoured liqueurs. Maria also makes two digestive liqueurs, one with oranges, lemons, herbs and spices, the other made with wild fennel (only for lovers of black jellybeans). Family owned and operated, the vineyard produces a small quantity of high quality wines. Our selection includes traditional Semillon and Shiraz, sparkling white and sparkling shiraz (both methode Traditionelle). our shiraz rose, and our two new releases, white splash (sloghtly sweet and citrus) and unwooded shiraz with a touch of sweetness., sparkling white and sparkling Shiraz.
