ARTISTS ENTRY

2013 Info for Artists:

Sculpture in the Vineyards is a Destinations NSW flagship event and the largest annual art event in the Lower Hunter attracting over 5000 visitors. Held throughout November 2013, artists are invited to submit large scale works (over 1m in any direction) which are suitable for long term outdoor survival in the beautiful historic Wollombi Valley.

  Enter in 2013 with an already made work, or a proposal.

Only $35 will get you up to 3 entries!!

A selection of 60 finalists will be chosen from the entries submitted to the pre-selection panel, remember up to three of your works may be selected!

Finalists will have their work placed by our curator, with the exception of site specific works, where you can work with the curator and the venue to nominate a site.

4. PAY ENTRY FEE $35.00:  by EFT, cheque or money order
    You can propose up to three outdoor works for one application fee.
     Applications submitted without an entry fee will not be considered.

Wollombi Wines Residency Award worth $2500
The People’s Choice Award worth $1000

Cessnock Regional Art Gallery Exhibition Award: John Barnes, Director of Cessnock Regional Art Gallery (CRAG), will select a group of artists ranging in career level as well as conceptual and material practice for a Sculpture exhibition in 2014. The selected artists will have the opportunity to work with the CRAG team to develop and deliver an exhibition which will coincide with the 2014 Sculpture In The Vineyards exhibition.
